Go to any park in modern India, you will find some morning walkers sitting and chatting on some topics. These topics are also darling of the English language in Indian media. These elites are hardly interested in the conditions of the working migrants from the villages who contribute more than 80 percent of BHARAT. This India-Bharat divide is still a reality in the Amrit Kaal, which India celebrated officially at a great public cost to the already heavily indebted India.
The brilliant Indian diplomats have been struggling hard to convince the rich world to make India a permanent veto-wielding member of the Security Council of UNO. They have tried every trick of the latest diplomatic trade but even the LPG (liberalization, privatization, and globalization) has so far failed to yield intended results. The main feature of India which Indian negotiators have been selling is DEMOCRACY in India. And rightly so!
The intellectuals of the haves’ block and the rich countries hackle India by raising the question of Human Rights. And again rightly so! Patriotic Indians need to introspect and convey their conclusions to the media and the masters in New Delhi. Such an internal debate and improving our record on civil liberalities will likely earn more global friends.
Once the rich and the poor are connected by singing ‘Jan Gan Man …. Adhynaake ‘together, our struggle for the higher will talk has begun in earnest. Only by increasing the budget of the Defence and External Affairs ministries and its glittering display helps a little in increasing Indian stature.
We shall prove our democratic credentials on June 4. We shall also know which way the winds blow. Our long boast about our economy and military muscle coupled with our ancient humility alone can make India GREAT. Let us all join hands to undo the harm that we have done to ourselves in the decade from 2014 to 2024, The struggling kisans are on the right path and they will not be going to sit at home after the election results on June 4 and their spectacular display.
